My mom uses to make these crispy fried chicken drumsticks since we were kids. Birthday parties, get togethers, simple family dinners, Iftar parties or Eid Milans , my Mom’s crispy fried chicken is always a big hit.
Its very simple and easy to make yet very delicious. Make sure that your drumsticks are properly marinated.
Chicken (Leg pieces) 6
Soy Sauce 4 tb sp
Vinegar 3 tb sp
Black Pepper 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic 3 large cloves chopped (1tbsp)
Ginger 1tb sp crushed
Wheat Flour 1 cup
Oil For deep frying
- In a bowl mix together Soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic and ginger.
- Marinade Chicken in the above mixture for 24 hours.
AFTER 24 HOURS
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Coat chicken legs in flour.
- Deep fry drumsticks at medium low heat for 5 to 7 mins (each side) or till the drumsticks are golden brown.
- Serve hot.
MAKES: 6 drumsticks
SERVING IDEAS: Can be served with rice as a meal or can be eaten as a snack. You can also serve the drumsticks with salad or cheese dip.
