Well, this recipe is kind of my own creation. I made a few variations in the basic potato toast recipe.
I loved potato toasts since my childhood when my mum used to give this to us as a brunch snack.
This is a very simple and easy tea time snack. Even beginners can make this simple and easy snack
Slices of regular bread 4
Potatoes medium (Boiled and mashed) 2
Cumin Seeds 1/8 tsp
Sesame Seeds ½ tsp
Black seed (Kalonji) 1/8th tsp
Mustard Paste 1/8 Tsp
Cheddar cheese 1. Slice (optional)
Salt 1/4th tsp
Red Chili Powder ½ tsp
Red Pepper flakes 1/4th tsp
Oil for deep frying
Parmesan cheese (Optional)
1. In a bowl put the mashed potatoes. Add cumin seeds, sesame seeds, black seeds, mustard paste, Cheddar cheese, salt, red chili powder and red pepper flakes and mix well.
2. Apply generous amount of potato mixture to bread slice.
3. Beat the eggs well, add pinch of salt and red chili powder. Dip breads in egg and deep fry at medium heat till golden brown. Take out on paper towel.
4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the hot toast and serve with ketchup or mustard paste.

How to Serve: You can serve it with mustard paste or simple ketchup.
