Easy Crispy Fried Chicken Drumsticks (My Mom’s Version)

My mom uses to make these crispy fried chicken drumsticks since we were kids. Birthday parties, get togethers or simple family dinners , my Mom’s crispy fried chicken is always a big hit.

Its very simple and easy to make yet very delicious. Make sure that your drumsticks are properly marinated.

INGREDIENTS:

Chicken (Leg pieces)                                     6

Soy  Sauce                                                 4 tb sp

Vinegar                                                       3 tb sp

Salt                                                            2tsp

Black Pepper                                              1 1/2 tsp

Garlic                                                          3 large cloves chopped (1tbsp)

Ginger                                                        1tb sp crushed

Wheat Flour                                                 1 cup

Oil                                                              For deep frying

 

RECIPE:

  1. In a bowl mix together Soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, garlic and ginger.
  2. Marinade Chicken in the above mixture for 24 hours.

 

AFTER 24 HOURS

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Coat chicken legs in flour.
  3. Deep fry drumsticks at medium low heat for 5 to 7 mins  (each side) or till the drumsticks are golden brown.
  4. Serve hot.

 

MAKES:             6 drumsticks

SERVING IDEAS:      Can be served with rice as a meal or can be eaten as a snack. You can also serve the drumsticks with salad or cheese dip.
